Shotfirer | 7/7 Roster | Permanent Pathway
We're seeking experienced Shotfirers to join a well-established mining team in Central Queensland. This role offers stability, competitive pay, and the chance to be part of a company that values safety, innovation, and its people.
The role:
You'll be an integral part of daily blasting operations, ensuring safe and efficient outcomes. Responsibilities include:
- Handling, preparing, and initiating explosives in line with regulatory standards
- Executing blast patterns based on drill and blast designs
- Inspecting and securing blast areas before and after detonation
- Coordinating with supervisors, drill crews, and production teams
- Maintaining accurate records and compliance with site protocols
- Proven experience as a Shotfirer in mining environments
- QLD Shotfirer Licence, Standard 11, and Coal Board Medical
- Current Police Check and Security Clearance
- Manual driver's licence
- RII blasting competencies highly regarded
- Competitive salary up to $139k + super
