What You'll Be Doing
- Operating Mobile Processing Units to safely deliver and load bulk explosives
- Performing routine pre-starts and basic maintenance on equipment
- Keeping accurate records and completing required documentation
- Working closely with the blasting team and other site personnel
- Supporting a strong safety-first culture and continuous improvement on site
- Experienced MPU Operators with a solid background in blasting or explosives handling
- A strong commitment to safety and following procedures
- Proven ability to work in a team and communicate effectively on site.
- Physically fit and able to work in a mining environment.
- Previous experience on a mine site, ideally in a similar role.
- Experienced MPU Operator with a strong background in blasting or explosives handling.
- Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) driver’s licence.
- Dangerous Goods (DG) licence and current Security Clearance, or ability to obtain both.
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
- RII qualifications (RIIBLA201A & RIIBLA203A) are highly desirable
