We are looking for an Environment & Community Manager to join us at our Boggabri mine, an open-cut coal operation producing up to 8.6 million tonnes per annum, and with a mine life extending through until 2036. Boggabri mine is located near Boggabri, Gunnedah and Narrabri, regional towns which offer community spirit and a unique and diverse country lifestyle.
The Environment & Community Manager is responsible for overseeing environment management activities across the site. The role ensures compliance with environmental regulations, promotes sustainable practices and fosters positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.

You believe in fostering a positive, collaborative work culture - ensuring we always put our people first.
- Hold a bachelor degree in Environmental Science or other relevant qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in environmental & community management, preferably in mining
- Knowledge of environmental planning approval processes, environmental management, mine site compliance, sustainable principles, and key environmental issues.
- Experience with environmental planning and protection legislation and reporting requirements of Local, State and Federal Governments
- Good working knowledge of NSW regulatory environment and government policy framework
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Strong leadership and team management skills
