About the role:
We are currently partnering with a well-established infrastructure contractor to identify a proactive and technically skilled  Energex/URD Electrical Supervisor . This role presents a rare opportunity to lead auditing, compliance, and energisation efforts on significant Energex and Ergon projects across Queensland.
Our client operates in the energy infrastructure space, with a strong focus on subdivision delivery, underground reticulation, and network commissioning. • Site Visits & Audits  – Engage with crews, conduct HSEQ audits, resolve site issues
• Switching & Commissioning  – Manage HV/LV switching, energisation, and safety documentation
• Planning & Programming  – Coordinate resources, write switching applications, liaise with contractors
• Project Sign-Offs  – Review audit packages, manage defect rectification, oversee materials planning
• Weekly Scheduling  – Confirm resource allocation and material readiness for upcoming works

• QLD Electrical Licence  (Minimum: Electrical Mechanic)
• Energy Queensland Authorisations :
  • Working On or Near Electrical Network Infrastructure in QLD (T0838)
  • Connection to the LV Network (ACONN - 1961)
  • Low Voltage Switching Operator (LVSO - 37005)
  • Individual of a Workgroup (IWG - 1013)
  • Access Recipient (HV Recipient - 1030)
• Experience :
  • 5+ years on Energex/Ergon projects (URD, LV/HV switching, cable jointing)
  • 2+ years in a supervision/project management role

• Introduction to Application Management System (T0753)
• LV Switching Sheet Writer (T0754)
• HV Cable Jointer (must be listed on QLD Electrical Licence)
• Overhead construction experience
