About the Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Electrical Supervisor to join our team. As an Electrical Supervisor, your tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Oversee all site activities under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Lead multiple teams of electrical workers.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to implement cost-effective construction methodologies.
  • Coordinate with the Project Engineer to ensure all work meets the highest quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.
  • Provide Quality Assurance and sign off on relevant works in accordance with project and compliance requirements.
  • Manage resource allocation in alignment with the project schedule, ensuring efficient planning and execution.
  • Monitor ongoing and upcoming works to identify potential challenges or issues and provide direction on best method for resolution.
  • Assist the Project Managers with the tracking of Apprentices, including their progress and work standards.
  • Maintain effective client and stakeholder engagement throughout the construction process.
About You:

  • Current unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers Licence
  • Current manual Driver’s Licence
  • 5+ years’ experience in the electrical construction industry.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role or similar leadership position.
  • Experience with working on Traffic Signals and Intelligent Transport Systems
  • Experience with Public Lighting – Rate 2, Rate 3 – is highly regarded
  • Experience with the Energex/Ergon network is highly regarded
  • Experience with overhead and underground reticulation is preferred
  • Experience/understanding of switching Low Voltage networks is preferred
  • High level of organisational and planning skills, as well as a great eye for detail
  • Excellent relationship skills and a great team player
  • Be comfortable leading, managing, and up skilling apprentices as required
  • Flexible and easy-going attitude
  • Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
