Stellar Recruitment has partnered with one of New Zealand’s largest privately owned electrical companies. Due to winning a large commercial project, our client is looking for an electrical supervisor with commercial experience to join the team in Whangarei to manage 8-12 electricians/apprentices in order to complete the project on time & within budget.
**Please note, this position is based in Whangarei and relocation is required**
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of electricians across solar farm projects
- Liaising with project managers, sub-contractors & stakeholders
- Health & safety management
- Lead toolbox meetings
- Troubleshooting issues & providing technical expertise to problem solving
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality is top notch
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction
- Experience as a leading hand
- Experience in commercial contracting
- full, clean drivers license
- NZ Electrical Registration and current practising licence
