About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for a Qualified Drainlayer to join our dynamic team working on a variety of residential and commercial projects. With the yard based in Tauranga, you'll be working across the Bay of Plenty.
You’ll play a key role in the installation, repair, and maintenance of drainage systems, delivering work to a high standard while ensuring compliance and safety.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain drainage systems, including sewer lines, stormwater drains, and pipes
- Ensure work complies with local council regulations and building codes
- Work collaboratively with site teams to deliver projects on time
- Troubleshoot and resolve drainage issues efficiently
- Maintain safe and tidy worksites in accordance with health and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members
- NZ Qualified Drainlayer (or equivalent certification)
- Full NZ Driver Licence (Class 2 preferred but not essential)
- Solid experience in both residential and commercial drainage work
- Sound knowledge of NZ drainage codes and practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, safety-conscious attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Great communication and customer service skills
- $30-$42 per hour – negotiable based on experience
