As a Qualified Drainlayer , you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems for both residential and commercial projects across the Matamata area.
You’ll work closely with a team of professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, up to industry standards, and with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair drainage systems (pipes, gutters, sewer lines)
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve drainage issues
- Maintain a clean, safe worksite and follow health and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- NZ Qualified Drainlayer (or equivalent qualification)
- Current NZ Driver’s License (Class 2 preferred, but not essential)
- Experience in both residential and commercial drainage systems
- Strong knowledge of drainage codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
