About the Role
We’re looking for a Drainage Foreman to join a growing civil company in Tauranga. You’ll lead by example on-site, oversee drainage and earthworks operations, and liaise with supervisors to ensure work is completed to a high standard.

Duties
- Oversee and perform civil/commercial drainage tasks
- Read plans and manage day-to-day site operations
- Complete trenching, watermain installation, roading, and subdivision work
- Implement H&S, run prestarts, and maintain job records
- Operate machinery competently
- Liaise with supervisors for scheduling, materials, and troubleshooting
Skills and Experience
- Certified/Qualified Drainlayer
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil/commercial drainage
- At least 3 years’ experience on subdivisions or large commercial projects
- Competent machine operator
- Strong understanding of H&S practices and site documentation
- Current NZ driver’s licence
- Valid Site Safe
- Must have valid working rights in New Zealand
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
