Based in Dunedin, my client is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Civil Drainlayer to establish and expand their growing drainage division across Otago. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the successful candidate will need to be passionate and driven to foster a successful team, build their client list and create strong local business relationships.
You'll be responsible for the operational management of staff and projects, using your technical expertise to provide certifying supervision for drainage staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the growth of the drainage division
- Develop strong Client relationships and pursue business growth opportunities
- Champion Health, Safety & Wellness policies
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes of practice
- Engage with key clients at domestic, commercial, and contracting levels
- Prepare pricing, budgets and manage financial targets
- Provide technical advice and troubleshooting
- Certifying drainlaying qualification (essential) with proven drainage project experience.
- Clean class 1 and class 2 licenses.
- Proven leadership skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel to other sites or branches.
- Right to live and work permanently in New Zealand.
- $120,000+ along with a company vehicle and possible relocation assistance
