Due to continued growth within the business, our client is seeking a full-time, permanent Diesel Technician to be based at their Rolleston workshop.
Working in a modern workshop, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and carrying out preventative maintenance on a range of heavy equipment and forklifts. The role includes both workshop-based and field work.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with overtime available.
Key duties:
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment and forklifts.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
- Completing relevant paperwork.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engines and heavy vehicles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- $40-$43 per hour
