We are currently on the lookout for a Diesel Fitter/Marine Engineer with the drive to deliver precision and reliability every time.
- $40-$50 Per hour experience dependent

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and overhaul diesel engines and auxiliary marine systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools
- Perform alignments, installations, and adjustments of propulsion and steering systems
- Document all work performed clearly and accurately
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety, environmental, and operational standards
- Liaise with clients and suppliers to maintain service quality and timelines
- Contribute to a strong safety culture and team collaboration
- Certified Diesel Mechanic, Marine Engineer, or equivalent trade qualification
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on marine engine or heavy diesel experience
- Comfortable working with inboard/outboard systems, hydraulics, and cooling systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills with a professional client-facing attitude
- Full NZ driver’s license
- Adaptable and proactive, whether dockside or at sea
