About the Role
As a Stormwater Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing stormwater management devices that meet hydrological, hydraulic, and ecological standards. You’ll work closely with clients, internal teams, and regulatory bodies to deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design stormwater systems and prepare technical documentation and drawings
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff and engineering clients
- Liaise with clients to deliver timely, site-specific solutions
- Support product development and collaborate across departments
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to CRM data integrity
- Represent the company at conferences and contribute to industry thought leadership
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, hydrology, and stormwater design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Mathcad, and stormwater modelling tools (e.g., HEC-HMS)
- Experience working with local government and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
- Work on innovative, sustainable infrastructure projects
