We’re working with an established contractor delivering a range of civil and commercial demolition projects across the Auckland region . With steady work secured and more projects coming online, they’re looking for reliable Demolition Workers to join the team.
This role suits someone who understands construction sites, follows process, and takes pride in doing demolition work safely and properly. You’ll be part of a crew that values teamwork, clear communication, and getting the job done right the first time.
What the role involves
- Manual and mechanical demolition work on civil and commercial sites
- Assisting with structural strip outs and site clearances
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
- Supporting machine operators and site supervisors
- Sorting, removing, and disposing of demolition materials
- Keeping sites tidy, controlled, and safe at all times
- Working to demolition plans and site specific requirements
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in demolition or construction environments
- Comfortable working in physically demanding roles
- Good awareness of site safety and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in your work
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in

- Ability to pass a pre employment drug test
- Satisfactory Ministry of Justice criminal background check
- Asbestos awareness
- Confined spaces or working at heights
- Experience working around machinery and services
