Role Overview:
As a Senior Contaminated Land Consultant, you will:
- Lead and deliver contaminated land investigations including PSIs, DSIs, RAPs, and SVRs
- Provide remediation advice, risk assessments, and regulatory guidance
- Liaise with local authorities and clients throughout the resource consent process
- Support project delivery in erosion and sediment control, as required
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
- Manage multiple projects with autonomy and precision
- Recognised industry accreditation (e.g CEnvP)
- Strong knowledge of NESCS, RMA, and MfE contaminated land guidelines
- Extensive experience in contaminated land investigations and reporting
- Project management experience and a proactive, client-focused mindset
- Leadership skills and a genuine interest in mentoring others
- Practicality, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
- Experience in erosion and sediment control (ESC)
- Familiarity with large infrastructure or land development projects
