Purpose of the role:
In this fast paced sector, the Construction Manager oversees the necessary planning execution, organisation and monitoring of civil, mechanical, electrical activities. You will be comfortable working with a large-scale projects and overseeing a high volume of assembly onsite and will be responsible for performing the necessary functions to achieve the project objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis in coordination with Senior site manager/Site manager, including monitoring the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials with related departments.
- Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
- Overseeing all onsite constructions to monitor compliance with approved design, timelines, and safety regulations
- Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed
- Be client facing to resolve problems and provide updates
- Responsible for monitoring subcontractor activities
- Drive the program for mechanical, electrical and civil on site
- Review, plan and oversee construction across multiple sites
