About the Client:

MACH Energy operates a modern, low-cost coal mining operation in the Hunter Valley, supported by a low strip ratio, an efficient mining fleet, and modern fixed plant and infrastructure. The business continues to expand year on year, underpinned by significant infrastructure investment and a clear strategic growth pathway.
  
Mount Pleasant Operation is currently undergoing major infrastructure upgrades, with substantial capital commitments in place. The operation is supported by leading contractors who play a critical role in maintaining performance and efficiency.  With tenure extending well into the future, the site offers stability, certainty and strong future prospects.

About the Role:

As the Coal Quality and Logistics Coordinator at Mount Pleasant Operation, your focus is to ensure the efficient delivery of quality product coal to customers whilst seeking to maximise the utilisation of Mount Pleasant’s resources.
  
Reporting to the CHPP Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of all coal quality functions. This includes developing executable coal processing, stockpiling, and railing plans aligned with the marketing plan. The role requires regular engagement with key stakeholders including the marketing and logistics team, the Mining Services Contractor, and the CHPP Operations and Maintenance Contractor.
  
In addition to planning, you will actively manage and communicate coal quality through effective tracking, monitoring, and reconciliation processes.
  
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Working knowledge of mining, processing, and logistics operations
  • Strong organisational capability with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience working within a multi-stakeholder supply chain
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Candidates who meet the above criteria and have a fixed‑plant maintenance background will be highly regarded
