We are looking for a Coal Quality and Logistics Co-ordinator to join us at our Boggabri mine, an open-cut coal operation producing up to 8.6 million tonnes per annum, and with a mine life extending through until 2036. Boggabri mine is located near Boggabri, Gunnedah and Narrabri, regional towns which offer community spirit and a unique and diverse country lifestyle.
The role is responsible for providing a range of geological, operational and coal quality management services to Boggabri Coal Operations not limited to:
- Guidance on daily, weekly, monthly mine planning / coal flow outputs.
- Guidance on product allocations, coal availability & processing requirements.
- Liaise with technical services, marketing and logistics regarding delivery of rail and sales commitments.
- Supporting site with geology and geotechnical support
- Attractive salary plus housing allowance
- Monday to Friday roster with option of 9-day fortnight
- 5 weeks annual leave

You believe in fostering a positive, collaborative work culture - ensuring we always put our people first.
- Hold a degree in geology
- Have 3+ years’ experience in site base geological or exploration drilling roles
- Have coal industry experience in similar geological, coal quality, logistics coordination roles
- Ideally have some Geotechnical experience
- Are proficient in the use of mine planning software (Vulcan, BlendOpts)
- Competent in the Microsoft Office Software suite
- Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate change and provide responsive services to meet customer’s needs
