The Role
Stellar Recruitment is working with a well-established, award-winning civil contractor whose work spans some of NZ's most varied infrastructure - energy, three waters, deep drainage, solar, and complex concrete structures. 

If you're someone who takes pride in running a tight site, developing the people around you, and getting the job done right - this is worth a look.

You'll be involved in:
  • Leading daily site operations from toolbox talks through to hands-on crew supervision
  • Keeping your crew sharp, safe, and on programme
  • Guiding and upskilling team members through experience and practical know-how
  • Reading plans, solving problems on the fly, and hitting targets
  • Liaising with clients, Contract Managers, and site teams across the project
  • Keeping documentation accurate and gear in good shape throughout
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum three years NZ-based supervisory experience in civil construction
  • Solid hands-on background across earthworks, drainage, precast, or in-situ concrete
  • A practical, no-nonsense approach to health and safety
  • A sharp eye for quality and comfortable with the paperwork that comes with it
  • Confident reading plans, scopes, and schedules
  • Full Class 1 licence
  • Genuine willingness to mentor and bring younger site staff along
  • Flexible to travel and stay away as projects require
