About the Role:
This is a hands-on role focused on operating civil plant and equipment for piling and construction projects across the lower North Island. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient use of machinery, ensuring it’s well-maintained and operated to industry standards. 
  
Responsibilities: 
• Operate cranes, excavators, trucks, and specialised piling equipment in line with your experience and licenses
• Follow safe operating procedures and best practices at all times
• Support or carry out site set-out tasks as directed by site leadership
• Keep the worksite clean, organised, and hazard-free
• Work closely with your team to maintain momentum and meet project deadlines
  
Hours:  Monday - Friday (47.5 hours per week minimum) 
Travel included across lower North Island from Taranaki to Wellington (meal allowance included when working outside of Hawkes Bay). 
  
About You:
You’ll ideally have experience in a similar role, a capable operator who’s confident on the controls and comfortable working outdoors, rain or shine. You bring a solid understanding of civil machinery and a team-first attitude to every site.
  
• Experience in a similar role, ideally within civil or infrastructure projects
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Solid understanding of plant and machinery used on site
• A current driver’s license
• Ideally: WTR, Forklift, Rigging and Dogging certifications
• Willingness to travel across the lower North Island
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
