This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads from the front, runs a tight site, and isn’t afraid to jump on the tools when needed.
About the Role You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations while working alongside your crew to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running daily toolbox meetings
- Supervising and coordinating site crews
- Setting out sites using lasers and string lines
- Ensuring QA processes and compliance are maintained
- Completing daily site reporting
- Maintaining health & safety standards
- Operating excavators and assisting with drainlaying as required
- Being 100% site-based and hands-on
- Proven experience as a Civil Foreman on road and civil projects
- Strong background in setting out and site preparation
- Confident running toolbox talks and managing crews
- Solid understanding of QA processes and documentation
- Competent operating diggers
- Drainlaying experience highly regarded
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full Class 1 licence (WTR endorsements advantageous)
- $40–$45 per hour (based on experience)
