The Role
My client is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join the team and contribute to their continued growth across the Wellington Region. If you're after secure, long-term work with a strong pipeline through 2026, this is an excellent chance to join and make your mark.

In this role, you'll lead and supervise a crew on a variety of projects, including maintenance, subdivisions and small civil works. As the Civil Foreman reporting to the Project Manager, you'll ensure the smooth running of activities, safety onsite and operate various machinery to support daily tasks.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of concrete, dig outs, laying hot mix, drainage, earthworks and roading. 

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven Foreman or Supervisory experience within Civil Construction/ Maintenance
  • Competent operating heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, rollers, dump trucks, etc.)
  • Full Class 1 licence + WTR (Class 2 preferred)
  • Hands-on attitude and willing to work on the tools when needed
  • Strong work ethic with clear, confident communication
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures
  • Site Safe (preferred)
  • Ability to complete all pre‑employment checks
  • NZ residency or valid work rights (required)
