Position Purpose:
To drive revenue growth through strategic acquisition of new clients in the warehousing and third-party logistics (3PL) sector, while nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships to maximise value, retention, and satisfaction.

Business Development 80%
- Identify and target new business opportunities across warehousing, fulfilment, and 3PL services
- Build strategic sales plans tailored to verticals such as FMCG, retail, e-commerce, and manufacturing
- Develop proposals and pricing models in line with operational capabilities and market trends
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure service offerings align with client needs
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies
- Maintain and deepen relationships with key accounts to ensure retention and account growth
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams for service delivery
- Prepare and lead regular performance reviews and service improvement discussions
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services where appropriate
- Manage CRM systems to record activities, track progress, and forecast revenue
- Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to leadership
- Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders about client expectations and feedback
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
- Strengthen brand awareness and promote the company’s competitive value proposition
- Develop customised presentations and promotional materials
- Proven experience in B2B sales within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and closing deals
- Strong understanding of inventory management, fulfilment, and logistics workflows
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into operational solutions
- CRM and data reporting proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
