Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and ready to take your engineering or technical sales career to the next level? We’re seeking a driven and dynamic  Stormwater Business Development Engineer  to lead innovation and growth in stormwater treatment solutions across the North Island.

About the Role This is a strategic technical sales position focused on improving water quality outcomes through engineered stormwater solutions. You’ll work closely with consultants, councils, and industry stakeholders to develop and promote cutting-edge products that support cleaner, healthier waterways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development across the northern region, supporting a network of 20+ branches.
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, regulators, and specifiers.
  • Provide technical support and develop engineered solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline and contribute to product specification and approval.
  • Represent the business at industry events and innovation forums.
  • Collaborate with a national engineering team at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years’ experience in technical sales or consulting within the construction or environmental sector.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Environmental Science.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and water quality.
  • CAD experience is a bonus but not essential.
