About the Role:
This is a hands on leadership role where you will manage people, support customers, and keep branch operations running smoothly. You will lead from the front, building a positive team culture while ensuring customers receive consistent, high quality service. You will suit this role if you are a strong communicator, a practical leader, and someone who enjoys being involved in the day to day operation of a busy branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support branch staff to build a strong, capable team
- Create a positive, accountable culture with clear expectations and standards
- Drive branch sales performance, customer service, and daily operational outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key accounts
- Oversee branch operations including stock, systems, and workflow efficiency
- Monitor performance, margins, and costs to ensure commercial success
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and grow the branch
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience leading or supervising a team in a trade, retail, or service environment
- Strong people skills, approachable, practical, and able to build rapport easily
- Confident communicator who can engage with both staff and customers
- Hands on mindset with a willingness to be involved in daily operations
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of sales and branch performance
- Ideally some technical or trade exposure, electrical experience an advantage
- Down to earth, team focused, and reliable in how you operate
- Electrical or trade knowledge (an advantage)
