This is a local role (not FIFO) with consistent work, overtime available, and the opportunity to move temp-to-permanent for the right candidates.
The Role
You’ll be working across site and workshop environments delivering high-quality piping and fabrication work on oil & gas infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Pipe fitting, layout, and installation
- Welding of piping systems (GTAW / SMAW)
- Bolt-up and flange management
- Reading and interpreting isometric drawings
- Working to 100% X-ray weld standards
- Assisting with tank refurbishment and mechanical installations
- Maintaining strict safety and quality procedures on site
- $54.90 p/h + penalties for overtime.
- Permanent role consideration after probation period
- Work across diverse projects with advanced technology.

- Various different Oil and Gas projects in Brisbane.
- Trade qualified Boilermaker or Pipe Fitter/Welder
- Proven experience in oil & gas, tank refurbishment, or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to pass 6G Pipe Weld Tests (GTAW/SMAW)
- Working at Heights, Confined Space, and White Card
- Current Driver’s License
- Ability to pass pre-employment DAS
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well in a team
