What You’ll Be Doing:
- Execute safe, high-quality blasting: dipping, priming, loading, stemming, and tying-in blast patterns
- Handle and manage explosives with precision and care
- Operate machinery and ancillary gear to support blast preparation
- Collaborate with a tight-knit, experienced crew to smash daily targets safely and efficiently
- 12+ months working in blasting or related mine site experience
- A current QLD Security Clearance
- Up-to-date S11 and Coal Board Medical
- A strong safety mindset and a great attitude—team player with initiative
- Bonus: HR Licence, Forklift Ticket, or relevant RII Certificates
