Job Title: Bid Manager – Infrastructure Projects

Location: Flexible within New Zealand

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per annum

About the Role:

We’re partnering with a leading infrastructure provider to find an experienced Bid Manager  to join their high-performing Submission Team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in bid writing and a strong understanding of the water or civil infrastructure sectors. You’ll play a key role in crafting compelling proposals that help secure major projects across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and submission of non-price attributes in line with brand and client expectations
  • Create engaging, strategic content that clearly communicates the value of the offer
  • Collaborate with the Submissions Manager, tendering team, and subject matter experts to gather insights and meet deadlines
  • Conduct research to support bid strategy and response development
  • Ensure all technical, commercial, and legal content is accurate and compliant
  • Track and report on bid activity and outcomes
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years’ experience in bid writing, business development, or marketing
  • Experience in the water or civil infrastructure industry is highly desirable
  • Skilled in Adobe Suite and/or InDesign
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Calm and confident under pressure, with a proactive mindset
