Our Whangārei client is looking for a motivated Automotive Service Advisor to join our friendly and supportive service team.

About the Role

As a Service Advisor , you’ll be the key link between the customers and the workshop team.

You will provide outstanding customer care from check‑in, to vehicle handover, ensuring a smooth and professional service experience every time.

If you enjoy a busy environment, problem‑solving, and building strong customer relationships, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers, book vehicles in for service, and manage daily workshop scheduling
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs, costs, and timeframes
  • Provide accurate quotes, raise job cards, and process repair orders
  • Liaise with technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely updates
  • Explain repair findings and recommendations in an easy‑to‑understand way
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and handle any enquiries professionally
  • Support warranty processing and invoicing as required
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, customer service, and dealership presentation
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership or automotive workshop (highly preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer‑service skills
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with customers
  • Confident using computer systems and able to quickly learn new software
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • A positive attitude, professionalism, and a team‑focused approach
  • Full NZ driver’s licence
Candidates with Parts, Workshop Admin, or Service Reception experience are encouraged to apply.
