About the Role
As a Service Advisor , you’ll be the key link between the customers and the workshop team.
You will provide outstanding customer care from check‑in, to vehicle handover, ensuring a smooth and professional service experience every time.
If you enjoy a busy environment, problem‑solving, and building strong customer relationships, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, book vehicles in for service, and manage daily workshop scheduling
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs, costs, and timeframes
- Provide accurate quotes, raise job cards, and process repair orders
- Liaise with technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely updates
- Explain repair findings and recommendations in an easy‑to‑understand way
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and handle any enquiries professionally
- Support warranty processing and invoicing as required
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, customer service, and dealership presentation
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership or automotive workshop (highly preferred)
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with customers
- Confident using computer systems and able to quickly learn new software
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and a team‑focused approach
- Full NZ driver’s licence
