About the Role
As our Automotive Parts Advisor , you’ll play a key role in supporting the workshop, retail customers, and trade clients with accurate parts identification, ordering, and inventory management. You’ll be the go‑to person for parts queries, ensuring seamless communication across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and supply automotive parts for technicians, retail customers, and trade accounts
- Maintain accurate stock levels through ordering, receipting, and inventory control
- Provide exceptional counter and phone‑based customer service
- Prepare quotes and invoices accurately and efficiently
- Assist with parts displays and merchandising where required
- Work closely with the workshop and service teams to support daily operations
- Ensure all parts processes follow brand and manufacturer standards
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor/Interpreter in the automotive industry (preferred)
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and parts catalogues
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Confident computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Team‑focused attitude with strong organisational skills
- Valid NZ driver’s license
