: Rio Tinto operations in the Pilbara
Position Overview:
As an Auto Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of Rio Tinto spec mobile mining equipment
. Your key duties will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
- Installing and maintaining electrical accessories and systems
- Troubleshooting electronic fuel injection, ignition, and transmission issues
- Performing breakdown repairs, servicing, and component changeouts
- Australian-recognised Auto Electrical trade qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ post-trade experience in mining
- Strong background with surface mobile equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi)
- Current A/C & Refrigeration Licence
- Manual C Class Driver’s Licence
- Able to pass a full pre-employment medical
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (mandatory)
- Competitive salary ~ $161,000 + super on all hours (+ target incentive $10,000)
