About the opportunity:
This is a full-time Auto Electrician opportunity based in Kaiapoi, working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Joining a well-established, family-owned business, you’ll be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on the electrical and electronic systems of a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses, and motorhomes. You’ll enjoy a mix of workshop-based and field service work, with the chance to work on both vintage and modern models. We’re looking for someone who is confident working independently, has strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. You’ll be joining a small, supportive team where your work is valued.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle electrical and electronic systems, including batteries, starters, alternators, wiring, and computers
- Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on vehicle electrical components
- Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Monday – Friday – No weekend work
- $35-$37 P/H
- Annual salary review

- Qualified Auto Electrician
