Gold Coast | Building Services Consulting
An established consulting engineering firm with offices across Australia is seeking an experienced Associate Hydraulic Engineer to join their growing Gold Coast team. This is a senior technical and client-facing role offering the opportunity to work on high-quality local projects while contributing to the continued growth of the Queensland business.
About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of hydraulic services design across a range of building services projects. You will play a key role in delivering compliant, efficient designs while liaising closely with clients, authorities and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Hydraulic services design for building services projects
- Preparation and review of compliant hydraulic documentation
- Liaison with local authorities, clients and contractors
- Coordination with internal engineering disciplines
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction
- Contributing technical expertise and mentoring where required
- 5+ years' experience in hydraulic services design within building services
- QBCC Hydraulic Design License
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and requirements
- Proven experience delivering local Australian projects
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across multiple stakeholders
- Wet fire design experience (desirable)
- Permanent role based in the Gold Coast office
